Careers at UPA Energy allow you to grow, develop, and progress in a supportive environment. There’s always lots to consider before applying for any new position, particularly at a new organisation, so here we’ve compiled answers to some of the most commonly asked questions by applicants.

Do you offer remote/hybrid working?

Different roles have different requirements, meaning some will be based at our offices in Knutsford, others could be remote, home-based, or hybrid. Details of the working arrangements for each vacancy will be provided in the job description and the terms of working will be agreed if you’re offered the position.

What is the probationary period?

Every role is different and your individual probationary period will be set out in your employment contract.

How will my work be evaluated?

We have a collaborative working culture at UPA Energy, where performance is evaluated through regular appraisal reviews. You will set personal goals in line with departmental objectives, working closely with your line manager and other team members.

How does onboarding work?

At UPA Energy, we want you to get off to the best possible start in your new role. To help you achieve this we provide a range of support for people joining our team, with formal and informal induction, as well as reviews to ensure you’re settling in. Each department has its objectives and priorities which will be discussed with you early on.
