TM44 air conditioning inspections are designed to assess the efficiency and performance of air conditioning systems. They are a legal requirement under the Energy Performance of Building Regulations (EPB Regulations) and should be conducted by qualified and accredited inspectors. Failure to arrange a TM44 inspection when required has a statutory fine of £300. There is an additional £200 fine if you fail to provide the outstanding report within 7 days.

DECs provide a visual indication of a building’s energy performance, graded from A to G, with A being the most efficient and G being the least efficient, accompanied by an Energy Performance Indicator (EPI).
